We went to see the Gila Valley Temple on Saturday and spend Mother's Day with Sterling's mom. It was a really nice weekend and we had lots of fun visiting and spending time with family.
The temple is really beautiful; we went at 6pm so the sun was just setting as we came out. It was well organized and we hardly waited at all.
You need to take your kids out of school and drive up to see it. The trip is about 2.5 hours to get there and well worth the drive. I suggest eating at El Rey in Globe (if you like Mexican), on the way up.(and maybe back too:).
Jordon was so excited to see the 'inside' of a temple. It is a memory that will last a long time.
Here is Shad waving bye, bye. He didn't go with us to see the temple, he had lots of willing babysitters at the house. This is before church on Sunday, with dad in their matching ties. We got to talk to Brendon too. He is doing great and they are very busy in his new area. Hard to believe he will be home in September.

We went last weekend. It was such a wonderful experience for our boys, and it is truly beautiful. We missed eating at El Rey because of time and are still sad about that. Happy Mother's day!
